On 15 January 1992, Teambuild Construction Pte Ltd was incorporated by a few like-minded professionals with a strong desire and vision to create an industry-leading organization that would push the boundaries of the local construction scene. The name “Teambuild” was chosen to emphasize the importance of teamwork in the company and this culture persists till this day.

Starting with only 2 staff handling small projects & sub-contracting works, Teambuild has grown into a multi-disciplinary organisation with subsidiaries providing architectural, structural, electrical and steel fabrication work with a total staff strength of more than 200 and an annual turnover of $200 million today. We are now registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) with the financial grade of A1 under the CW-01 (General Building) workhead which allows us to tender for Public Sector building projects of unlimited value. We are also registered under the CW-02 (Civil Engineering) workhead with a grading of B2 which allows to tender for Public Sector Civil Engineering projects of up to SGD$10milion.

Currently, our business operations are largely based in Singapore focusing on Housing & Development Board (HDB) public housing projects – both new construction projects as well as upgrading projects, private residential projects, institutional and commercial projects. We have made some inroads into Malaysia where we have a few projects as well. We are also looking for opportunities to expand our business into the region and eventually establish our presence there through establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with reputable local companies.

As a commitment to delivering quality products at a competitive price to our customers, we embarked on our ISO certification in 1995. We duly attained our ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification on 31 January 1996. We then went on to obtain our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 on 3 September 2000.

In 2006, we moved into our own premises at 32 Sungei Kadut Way consisting of a 4 storey office building, a steel fabrication yard, materials and equipment storage and a 4 storey workers’ quarters. This heralded a new era for Teambuild as we now had a place we could call our own.

We are honoured to have been conferred a slew of corporate enterprise awards such as SME500 (6 consecutive years, 1999 to 2004), Enterprise 50 (5 consecutive years, 2004 to 2008) and we have also been included in the Singapore 1000 listing for 4 consecutive years (from 2006 to 2009) in recognition of our achievements as a growing organization.

As Teambuild continued to grow, we felt the need to be a socially responsible company to the community around us as well as the importance of providing a better work-life balance to our staff. To address these needs, Teambuild setup a Social & Recreation Committee (SRC) whose main aims are to coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for worthy causes as well as to organize recreational activities for staff.
